2016 has been a good year for the Spanish real estate market. After years of economic recession, the sector seems to have recovered its pulse. In this post we present the main trends for 2017.

An amount that represents 19.4% of total, a turnover in the real estate market, and the highest percentage in the historical series.
This number of transactions, extracted from the data of the Spanish Ministry of Development, show how foreign investment in Spanish Real Estate Sector accumulates five consecutive years to the rise. This trend is expected to continue in 2017, despite the negative effects on the housing market that Brexit may have.

It is expected that prices and trading operations will continue to increase. Although the improvement will extend over more cities, the dynamism of Barcelona, Madrid, Costa del Sol, Alicante and the islands contrasts sharply with what happens in areas of interior and some coasts with high levels of stock and price falls.
