Fiesta time in San Miguel de Salinas
The town of San Miguel de Salinas will be celebrating it's annual fiesta until the 7th October. During the celebration they will honouring San Miguel Archangel as well as enjoying concerts, tapas route, carnival parade, lots of partying and a firework display. Some of the events are below.
Saturday 22nd September
19:00 Carnival Parade, followed by partying at the Barraca Popular.
Sunday 23rd September
17:30 6th Mini Bull Run for Children with pretend Bulls and a water balloon fight
20:30 Choir Concert in the Plaza de la Libertad
Friday 28th September
20:00 Flower Offering Parade in honour of San Miguel Arcangel, followed by a Concert by the Choir Alcores in the plaza de la Libertad
Saturday 29th September
12:00 Mass in honour of San Miguel Arcangel.
20:00 Procession with the statue of San Miguel followed by a firework display
Sunday 30th September
21:00 Concert by the Union Musical San Miguel de Salinas Band in the Plaza Jaime I
Saturday 6th October
Equestrian Day at the Recinto Feria on Ctra. Campoamor near the Castle
11:30 Horse and Carriage Parade through the streets of the town.
12:00 Equestrian Games
Sunday 7th October
Giant Paella in the Plaza Jaime I with live music.
