Every year, more and more people choose the Spanish Costa´s as their holiday destination or as their dream retirement preferences. Year long sunshine, relaxed lifestyle and affordable living. All this is very hard to find amongst the other European countries.

For many years, the Mediterranean Coast of Spain has been offering a wide variety of properties at a very reasonable price. However it is obvious this will not last forever. If you want to buy a property in the Costa Blanca or Costa Calida you must hurry, as prices are starting to increase.

1. Make Sure You Can Afford the Property

Before putting an offer on a property, make sure you can afford it. Knowing exactly how much you can spend is crucial and is the most important factor. Carefully examine how much money you have and how much money you may need to borrow from the bank. 2. Permanent Living, Holiday Home or investment property?

Occasionally with the bank repossessions you can find a “never lived in" property.

5. Bargain

Make an offer and try to beat the asking price. You have to negotiate to get the best price available, but if you are too aggressive with your offer, the vendor might reject your offer. You must be polite and show respect for the improvements made on the property; even though you must deduct from the offer price other rcosts for more improvements which might need to be made on the property.
