After searching for almost 2 years for our early retirement/relocation home in the Spanish sun away from wet and windy Scotland, Gary from Complete Spanish Property sent us a few villas that met our numerous requirements within our budget. We arranged with Gary a four day viewing trip.
DAY 1 - Gary was there to meet us from our flight (despite us arriving on Easter Sunday afternoon when he had plans with his family for celebration lunch, attending his local town parade and fiesta). After taking us to our lovely hotel and showing us around the surrounding area we arranged to view our preferred properties after breakfast the next day. It was refreshing to have an agent who was not pushing for a sale, making suggestions on how we could change the villa to suit our taste and happy to allow the viewing time at our pace.
DAY 2 - second visit to the property we finally purchased. Gary remained in the background while we took photos, videos and discussed the property without 'comment' unless asked relevant questions. Gary was very knowledgeable in relation to the area of Ciudad Quesada and the villa. Afterwards he drove us to the beach for lunch so we could discuss alone.
Day 3 - Gary picked us up from hotel after breakfast to view more properties we had asked to see but we had decided to purchase the house from the day before. Gary then showed us local area, golf course, supermarkets, then to open up a Spanish bank account
DAY 4 - Lawyers to arrange NIE numbers, power of attorney, deposit all the legal stuff which 'could not have been easier and straightforward' Next morning to the airport to fly home to Glasgow
From then Gary has kept us totally up to date by email and sorted out or concerns:
(Pool as this was covered and could not be viewed, building regulations, removal of unwanted furniture in the house). The lawyer he uses was equally impressive and professional. We cannot believe how easy and without ANY problems this sale has been. Seamless, hassle and worry free!!! Gary has agreed to pick us up from the airport with the keys to our new home when we move over and assist us in the future. We have viewed with 3 of the well known Spanish agents and found them pushy, opinionated and only interested in their commission. Gary is none of these and I highly recommend you use *Complete Spanish Property* if you are looking in Costa Blanca!!!!
