Obtain all the information of which you are entitled to know

-Full identification of the promoter and his company registration number to check, for example, which is actually registered in the Central Register. When buying new build properties, your solicitor is vital in checking this information.

-The floor plans for your future property, as well as its exact location within the development.

-The quality report (which should detail the materials used)

-The price, payment schedule and delivery date.

If you make some payments before the house is finished.

Request proof that:

-Show the amount that has been paid

-Pay only to the bank account associated with the construction of the project

You must also make sure that the developer has a bank guarantee or insurance that guarantees repayment of the amounts paid plus interest, if your home does not get built or their construction is delayed.
